Esportdle's Smashdle draws one Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter a day. Each guess shows whether series, Smash debut and gender match and whether the roster number is higher or lower, and five more modes ask for a fighter from a silhouette, pixel art, emoji, a Final Smash or the hat Kirby is wearing.
About Esportdle Smashdle (Super Smash Bros.)
Smashdle is Esportdle's daily game for Nintendo's crossover fighter. Classic covers the full Ultimate roster of 86 fighters, and every guess fills columns for fighter, series, debut, gender and roster number, the last with an arrow up or down.
It has more side modes than any other Esportdle game: Silhouette shows only an outline, Pixel sharpens a pixel-art fighter as you guess, Emoji builds up emoji clues, Final Smash shows a fighter's Final Smash, and Kirby asks whom Kirby swallowed.
The modes reset together at midnight CET, and a countdown in the header shows the time left. No login is needed; an account tracks streaks and achievements and puts you on the global leaderboard, and a Today's answers page is there if you give up. Esportdle runs the same kind of daily quiz for other games, from Counter-Strike and Valorant to Minecraft and One Piece.
How to play Esportdle Smashdle (Super Smash Bros.)
- Open Smashdle and choose Classic or one of the five other modes.
- In Classic, type a fighter's name and press Guess.
- Check series, debut and gender, and follow the roster number arrow.
- Guess a fighter who fits everything so far.
- Find today's fighter, then try Silhouette, Pixel, Emoji, Final Smash and Kirby.
Tips
- The roster number arrow works like a binary search: open near the middle of the roster.
- Series is the strongest clue; once it is green, the field drops to a handful of fighters.
