Daily Wordplay is a word puzzle app from Skillpoint Games that puts seven puzzle types in one place, with new puzzles every day: a mini crossword, a five-letter word guess, a quote codebreaker, a word association chain, a word search, a word wheel and Letter Lock. A dated daily challenge rewards finishing several of them, and you can share your results.
About Daily Wordplay
The app opens on the day's date and a list of puzzles. Mini Crossword is a small grid with a new set of clues every day. Guess Word gives six chances to find a five-letter word, with coloured clues after each guess. Code Breaker hides a famous quote behind numbers, one number per letter. Word Chain is a word association puzzle where words and phrases link in a row. Word Search hides words across, down and diagonally, Word Wheel builds words from a wheel of letters until the board is full, and Letter Lock has you scroll columns of letters to make a target number of words, with three wrong words allowed.
The daily challenge sits at the top of the home screen with a countdown and rewards along a track for each puzzle you finish; the store description asks for two puzzles a day to build a streak, and a seven-day streak earns a larger prize. Each puzzle type has an archive of earlier puzzles to unlock, and a share message posts your result for friends.
Daily Wordplay is published by Skillpoint Games and came to the App Store in November 2025. It is free to download, with coin packs and a 30-day Premium Pass sold in the app. An internet connection is required.
How to play Daily Wordplay
- Open Daily Wordplay to see the day's date, the daily challenge and the seven puzzles.
- Pick a puzzle, such as the Mini Crossword, and fill the grid from the clues.
- In Guess Word, find the five-letter word in six tries using the coloured feedback.
- In Code Breaker, match numbers to letters to reveal the quote.
- Finish puzzles to move along the daily challenge track and keep your streak, then share your result.

- In Code Breaker, fill in short words like THE and AND first; each number then fills in everywhere it appears.
- In Letter Lock, think before you submit, since three wrong words end the round.
