Tftdle is a daily guessing game for Teamfight Tactics that follows the current set. Classic mode compares each guess with the hidden unit on gender, origin, class, range and cost. Four more modes ask you to name a unit from its ability text, its best items or the gap in a trait, and to name an augment from its effect.

About Tftdle

Tftdle is a daily guessing game for Teamfight Tactics, Riot's auto battler set in the League of Legends world. It follows the current TFT set, so the units, traits, items and augments it asks about are the ones live in the game now. Older sets back to Set 9 can be picked in the settings, each with its own answers for the day.

Classic mode is the attribute game. You type a unit and the board shows a row for it: gender, origin, class, range and cost, each square green when it matches the hidden unit and red when it does not, with arrows for range and cost. Ability mode shows a unit's ability description. Item mode shows the items a unit usually carries. Trait mode lays out the portraits of a trait's units with one left as a question mark, and a cost clue opens after three tries. Augment mode prints an augment's effect for you to name.

Each mode has one answer a day for everyone, picked from the set's roster by the date, and all five reset at 06:00 UTC. Your streak and stats stay in the browser, and a button copies them to share. The game is free, needs no account, and is a fan project with no tie to Riot Games. It can be played in 19 languages.

It suits Teamfight Tactics players who know the current roster, its traits and item builds, and League of Legends players who want a second champion puzzle after LoLdle.

How to play Tftdle

  1. Open Tftdle and pick a mode: Classic, Ability, Item, Trait or Augment.
  2. In Classic mode, type a unit and pick it from the list.
  3. Read the row it adds. Green squares match the hidden unit, red ones do not, and the arrows show whether its range and cost are higher or lower.
  4. In Ability, Item and Trait modes, name the unit from its ability text, its usual items, or the empty place in a trait.
  5. In Augment mode, read the effect and type the augment's name.
  6. Come back after 06:00 UTC for new answers in every mode.

Tips

  • Start Classic with a mid-cost unit whose traits you know. Its origin and class split the roster fast.
  • Range is a strong clue. A range of 1 or 4 cuts the list to melee or ranged units at once.
  • In Trait mode, count the portraits shown. The trait's size tells you which breakpoint the missing unit fills.
  • Switch to an older set in the settings if you want more puzzles after today's.

Questions

What time does Tftdle reset?

Every mode gets a new answer at 06:00 UTC. The page shows a countdown to the next one.

What modes are there?

Five. Classic gives attribute clues with every guess, Ability names a unit from its ability text, Item from its best items, Trait asks which unit is missing from a trait, and Augment names an augment from its effect.

Which TFT set does it use?

The current set by default (Set 18 in October 2026). Older sets back to Set 9 can be chosen in the settings.

Is it the same for everyone?

Yes. Each mode's answer comes from the date, so every player on the current set gets the same one that day.

Is it official?

No. Tftdle is a fan-made game and is not a Riot Games product.

Does it cost anything?

No. It is free in the browser, with no account and no ads.
