Talsgar being played: a Skyrim riverside panorama with the map and Guess button on the right, and a round result of 5000 points on the Skyrim map on the left

Talsgar is a GeoGuessr-style game set in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Each round drops you into a 360-degree view of one of more than 1,000 spots in the game's world, and you mark where you think it is on Skyrim's map; the closer the pin, the more points, up to 5,000 a round. The Daily Challenge gives everyone the same five locations each day.

About Talsgar

Talsgar takes the GeoGuessr format into Skyrim. A round shows you a panorama you can turn around in, taken somewhere in the game's province, and a map of Skyrim beside it. You drop a pin where you think the view was taken, and the score falls with distance from the true spot, from 5,000 points for a near hit.

The Daily Challenge, at its own address, picks five locations from the day's date in UTC, so everyone playing that day sees the same set, with 30-second rounds. Outside the daily you can set your own round length, turn panning and zooming on or off, and send a challenge link to a friend. Scores are kept on a local scoreboard.

The site says it is not affiliated with Bethesda Softworks or ZeniMax Media.
