Silksongdle classic mode today: a guess of Lace shows its type, area, colours, health 850 and journal kills, marked against the day's character

Silksongdle is a set of six daily guessing games built on Hollow Knight: Silksong. Each day you name a character from its traits, an enemy from the Hunter's Journal, a blurred silhouette, a tool from emoji hints, a speaker from a voice line and a spot on the map, with past days kept in an archive.

About Silksongdle

Silksongdle takes the -dle formula into Pharloom, the world of Hollow Knight: Silksong. It is a fan project, not made by Team Cherry, and instead of one puzzle it sets six each day, each with its own answer: a character, an enemy from Hornet's Hunter's Journal, a character shown as a blurred silhouette, a tool hinted at by emoji, a voice line and a location.

The classic mode works like other attribute games. You type any character and a row shows its picture, type, area, colours, health and the kills its journal entry needs, each marked right, close or wrong against the day's answer, with arrows for the numbers. An easy mode narrows the list for newer players. The other modes lean on the game's art and sound: you sharpen a silhouette, listen to a line of dialogue, or click on the map where a view was taken. Each mode counts down to the next answer at midnight US Eastern time, and a give-up button shows the answer if you are stuck.

Since February 2026 an archive lets you pick any earlier day from 1 November 2025 and step back and forth through them, and atlas pages list the characters and tools with filters by area and type. The page counts how many players have found each answer, and results can be shared. It is free in the browser with Google ads loaded on the page, and needs no account.

It suits players who have explored Pharloom closely and remember the journal entries as well as the bosses, and players of Hollowdle, the same idea for the first game.

How to play Silksongdle

  1. Open the classic mode and type the name of any Silksong character, then pick it from the list.
  2. Read the row: each trait turns green, orange or red against the day's answer, and arrows show whether its health or kill count is higher or lower.
  3. Guess again until the character is found, or turn on easy mode for a shorter list.
  4. Switch with the icons at the top to the journal, silhouette, tools, voice line and location modes for the day's other puzzles.
  5. Come back after the countdown for new answers at midnight Eastern time, or play past days from the archive.

Tips

  • Use the character atlas to learn how the traits are labelled before you start.
  • In the location mode, the colours and background often tell you the region.
  • Bosses and named characters are only part of the pool; journal entries cover common enemies too.
