Poedle is a free daily guessing game for Path of Exile 1. You search for an item and each guess shows its class, base type, level and attribute requirements, types and the release it came in, coloured green where it matches the hidden item, with arrows for higher or lower numbers.

About Poedle (poedle.app)

Poedle asks for one item from Path of Exile 1 each day. There is a single search box: type an item's name, pick it, and a row appears with the item's picture and its properties beside it.

Each property is compared with the hidden item. Item class and item base turn green when they match and red when they do not. The level, strength, dexterity and intelligence requirements show an up or down arrow when the answer's value is higher or lower, and the release column does the same for when the item was added; a setting lets you read that column as a version number, a date or an expansion name. Keep guessing until the row is all green.

When you find it, the game tells you to come back tomorrow for a new item, and under the board it names yesterday's answer, so a missed day still gets its reveal.

It suits Path of Exile players who know the unique item list and enjoy narrowing it down by requirements and patch history.

How to play Poedle (poedle.app)

Open poedle.app and type an item name in the search box.
Pick the item to submit it as a guess.
Read the row: class and base turn green when they match, and arrows show whether the answer's requirements and release are higher or lower.
Use the clues to choose your next item.
Find the day's item, then come back tomorrow for a new one.

Tips

Pin down the item class first: it cuts the list to one slot.
The release column is easier to read as an expansion name if you remember leagues better than patch numbers.
Attribute requirements often give away the base type before the class does.
