Sutom - Word Games & Puzzles (app)

The app's lead game is a word of the day in the Motus style: the first letter is shown, you have six tries, and red marks a letter in the right place, yellow a letter in the wrong place and blue a letter not in the word. Everyone gets the same word that day, so scores can be compared and shared.

Eight more puzzles come out each day beside it: a crossword with clues in the grid (mots fléchés), Pazuru (trace a path through numbered cells in order), sudoku in 9x9 and 6x6, Fubuki (place numbers to reach row and column sums), Dotscape (wall in a bird on a hex grid), Takuzu (0s and 1s), a word search and anagrams. Several get harder through the week, and the daily puzzles are numbered and dated.

Outside the dailies there are unlimited modes: themed quests, real-time duels against friends, a two-minute chrono and a blind mode without the first letter. The app works offline, needs no account to start, keeps streaks and global and friends leaderboards, is free with ads and in-app purchases, and runs in French, English and Spanish. It is a separate app from the SUTOM website.
