Privacy

Daily Games to Play is run by Moltke Benjaminsen ApS (CVR 45555399, Denmark), a Moltke Benjaminsen Alpha project, which is responsible for the data described here.

This site has no accounts, no advertising and no cookies.

Anyone can rate a game and write a review without an account. To stop repeat votes we keep a one-way hash of your internet address, never the address itself. A review shows once it has been checked for spam and abuse, and the name you give, if any, shows with it.

We count visits with a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool (Umami): the page, the referring site, the browser, the device type and the country. Nothing in it identifies you, and it is not shared or sold.

Daily reminders are off until you turn one on. When you do, your browser gives us a push address that only it can receive at, and we keep it with the games you chose and the time you picked at Amptune, our own notification service, so the reminder can be sent. There is no account and no name or email. Turning reminders off, here or in your browser, stops them, and the address is no longer used.

My dailies, the games you keep with the star and which of them you played today, is kept in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.

The weekly top 40 counts presses of Play, games kept on My dailies, reminders turned on and ratings. Each is counted once a day per game; to tell readers apart we keep a one-way hash of your internet address and browser for two days, and after that only the daily totals per game.

If you sign up for the weekly email, we keep your email address and when you confirmed it, and send the email through Postmark, our mail service. Each email has a link that unsubscribes you with one click; we then send you nothing more. We count nothing about who opens or clicks it.

If you submit a game, we keep what you send, your email and when you accepted the Terms. We use your email only to confirm your submission and to tell you the outcome of the review, sent through Postmark. For the daily limit on submissions we keep a one-way hash of your internet address, never the address. Write to us to have a submission deleted.

When you follow a link to a game, you are on that game's site, under its own privacy policy.
