Stars Ultimate
Rate itA daily 10x10 two-star Star Battle with streaks, from the makers of Queens Ultimate.
on starsultimate.com

Stars Ultimate posts one 10x10 Star Battle a day, numbered and dated, getting harder from Easy early in the week to Hard at the weekend. You place two stars in each row, column and coloured region so that no two touch, even diagonally. An archive, an Unlimited mode and a streak bring players back.
About Stars Ultimate
Stars Ultimate is a free browser Star Battle from Hey, Good Games, the studio behind Queens Ultimate. Its rule set is the classic two-star one: every row, every column and every coloured region of the 10x10 grid holds exactly two stars, and no two stars may touch, not even at a corner. The site says each puzzle has one solution reachable by logic alone.
The daily is dated and numbered (puzzle #30 fell on Tuesday 20 October 2026) and turns over at midnight in your own time zone. Its difficulty follows the week: Monday to Thursday are Easy, Friday is Medium, and Saturday and Sunday are Hard, with a badge on each board. Everyone gets the same board, and the site tracks your streak.
First-time players get a short How to Play tutorial on a worked 8x8 board, which can be skipped. Tap a cell once for an X and twice for a star; placing a star crosses out the cells around it for you. Under the board are Reset, Undo, Hint and Check, and a timer runs beside a pause button. When the daily is done, Unlimited offers more boards, and the archive replays the last seven days without an account; a free account opens every daily back to the first, with full stats and a leaderboard. Replays do not count toward the streak. The menus can be switched to Spanish, Portuguese or German.
The page carries display ads beside the board on a desktop and above and below it on a phone; the board itself stays clear. It suits LinkedIn Queens players who want the harder two-star version with the same bright colour regions.
How to play Stars Ultimate
- Open starsultimate.com and skip or follow the tutorial; today's Daily loads.
- Tap a cell once to mark an X where no star can go, and twice to place a star.
- Put exactly two stars in every row, column and coloured region.
- Keep stars from touching, even diagonally; the cells around a star are crossed out for you.
- Press Check when the board is full, then come back tomorrow to keep your streak.

Tips
- Begin with the smallest region; two stars that cannot touch leave few places for them.
- Two regions that fill the same two rows take all four of those rows' stars.
- Use Hint sparingly on the Easy weekday boards to learn the patterns the weekend's Hard ones need.
- Missed a day? The last seven dailies replay from the archive, though only today's counts for the streak.
