The Daily PROCYCLE on desktop after three guesses: Lotte Kopecky's tiles with a green Gender tile and arrows on Pro Debut and Pro Wins, Jonas Vingegaard's row below

PROCYCLE is a daily guessing game for road cycling fans. Each day it picks one rider from the men's and women's WorldTour, a few ProTeams and recently retired riders, and every guess shows how your rider compares on debut year, team, wins, gender, specialty and nationality, with arrows for higher or lower.

About PROCYCLE

PROCYCLE was made by Niko Dennis, who says it was heavily inspired by Spotle and Wordle, and that it was built to help people learn about the riders they see in WorldTour racing. Its statistics come from ProCyclingStats, last updated on 29 July 2026.

The pool is roughly a thousand cyclists: every rider on the 18 men's and 14 women's WorldTour teams, the men of Tudor, Cofidis, Pinarello Q36.5 and Unibet Rose Rockets, and retired riders with more than 10,000 UCI points who stopped after 2020. Each guess reveals six attributes in coloured tiles, and pro debut and wins carry an arrow pointing up or down toward the answer. Pro debut turns yellow within three years and wins within five; nationality is yellow on the same continent, or for Europeans, the same region of Europe. Team shows the rider's latest team, or retired.

The Daily gives you ten guesses at one rider, and the site picks a different rider every day until the end of the month before going back to the full list. A countdown shows the time to the next rider at midnight US Central Time, and a stats panel keeps your streak. An Unlimited mode lets you practise with your own settings: Noob with twenty famous riders, Easy with about 200, Medium with half the list or Hard with all of it, men, women or both, and ten or infinite guesses.

It suits fans who watch the races and want to know the peloton beyond the leaders.

How to play PROCYCLE

  1. Open theprocyclegame.com and press Play: it opens The Daily.
  2. Type a cyclist's name, pick it from the suggestions and press Guess.
  3. Read the six tiles: green is correct, yellow is close on debut (within three years), wins (within five) or nationality (same continent), and grey is wrong.
  4. Follow the arrows on pro debut and wins: up means the answer's number is higher, down means lower.
  5. Use team, specialty and nationality to narrow the list and find the rider within ten guesses, then share your result or practise in Unlimited.

Tips

  • Specialty is the quickest filter: sprinters, climbers and GC riders split the field.
  • A yellow nationality for a European rider means the same region, which narrows it to a handful of countries.
  • Use Noob or Easy in Unlimited to learn the clues before the Daily, which can be anyone on the full list.
  • The arrows on debut and wins halve the field quickly: start with a rider in the middle of the peloton's ages and win counts.
