Kombatdle

Kombatdle brings the character-of-the-day format to the Mortal Kombat series. Every day one fighter is hidden, the same for every player, and a timer counts down to the next. It was released in June 2025 by Ailu_dev as an independent fan project, not tied to Warner Bros. or NetherRealm Studios.

You type a character's name and press the Finish him button to guess. Your guess appears as a row of squares under six headings: gender, species, faction, realm, alignment and debut. Green means the trait matches the hidden character exactly, orange means it overlaps in part (a fighter can belong to more than one faction or realm), and red means nothing in common; an arrow on the debut square points to an earlier or later game. Each row narrows the field until you name the right one and see the Fatality screen.

By default the pool holds the fighters of the NetherRealm era, with traits as they stood before Mortal Kombat 11's New Era. The day's answer is taken from the date in the order the roster is listed, so the same fighters come round every two months or so. The Hard mode button starts a game with 24 3D era fighters added, 86 in all against 62 in the normal pool,, for players who know the Midway games. A Characters page explains these choices, and the patch notes from summer 2025 show the maker correcting traits such as Shao Kahn's species and Bo' Rai Cho's debut game. It keeps a streak in your browser and needs no account.

It suits Mortal Kombat fans and players of other fighting game dailies such as Tekkendle and Street Fighterdle.
