Fightdle (FGC Guessr)

FGC Guessr is a site for the fighting game community, best known for its game of guessing a player's rank from a clip, and Fightdle is its daily character game. The pool is 134 entries: 80 fighters from Street Fighter III, IV, V and 6, each listed once per game they appear in, so Ryu (SF4) and Ryu (SF6) are separate answers. Every day at midnight UTC one of them becomes the hidden answer for all players.

You type a character's name, pick the version from the list, and the guess fills a row of columns: gender, which Street Fighter game the version is from, whether it was DLC (N/A for SF3), and four yes-or-no questions about the moveset: a projectile, a command grab, an invincible reversal such as a dragon punch, and charge inputs. Each cell turns green when it matches the answer and red when it does not, and the last cell names your guess. You have six rows to land on the right fighter.

The moveset columns are what set it apart from other character -dles: they reward players who know how each fighter actually plays, not just where they come from. A Daily Fightdle leaderboard ranks the best streaks, a results grid can be shared, and an Arcade mode gives endless rounds with its own leaderboard once the daily is done. The daily plays without an account. It suits Street Fighter players and anyone in the fighting game scene.
