Guess The Rider's Top 100 men board: five race results with places and years, locked Team and Photo clues at 3 and 10 tries, and a name box with Guess and Forfeit

Guess The Rider is a daily cycling quiz. The day's rider is shown only as a list of race results, such as a win at a one-day race or a tenth place at the Tour de France, and you guess the name, with the team and a photo opening as later clues.

About Guess The Rider

Guess The Rider was created by Gauzoo in 2025. It sets a daily rider in several pools: the top 100 men of the UCI road elite rankings, the top 300 men, the top 100 women, and a top 100 of legends.

The board starts on Results: five lines, each a race with the rider's place and the years, for example a win at the Classic Grand Besancon Doubs in 2026 or two tenth places in the Tour de France general classification. You type a rider's name and press Guess. If you are stuck, the Team clue opens after three tries and the Photo after ten, and a Forfeit button ends the day's game.

The goal is to find the rider in as few guesses as possible. An account is optional and keeps your game history, your average attempts per mode and your place on the leaderboard.

It suits cycling fans who read results sheets as well as watch the racing, since the clue is the palmares rather than a name or a face.

How to play Guess The Rider

  1. Open guesstherider.com and pick a pool, such as Top 100 men.
  2. Read the five race results of the day's rider.
  3. Type a rider's name and press Guess.
  4. After three tries the Team clue opens, and after ten the Photo.
  5. Find the rider in as few guesses as you can, or press Forfeit.

Tips

  • A Grand Tour general classification line points to a stage racer; one-day wins point to a classics rider.
  • The years beside each result tell you whether the rider is young or late in their career.
  • Try the Top 100 pool first: the larger pools include riders with smaller results.
