on ffdle.vargash.net

FFDle is a free fan-made daily Final Fantasy guessing game. Each day there is one character to find from a roster of 106 heroes, party members, villains and NPCs across the series; every guess is compared with the answer column by column and coloured green for correct, amber for a partial match and red for incorrect.
About FFDle
FFDle is a fan-made guessing game about the Final Fantasy series, played in the browser. Its one live mode, Classic, hides a character each day: a protagonist, a party member, a villain or an NPC from the numbered games and spin-offs such as Tactics, Type-0 and Crisis Core, out of a roster of 106.
You type a name and pick it from the list, and the game sets your guess beside the answer in ten columns: debut game, other appearances, gender, race, character type, job, weapon, affiliation and hair colour. Each tile turns green when it matches, amber when it partly matches (a shared race, an overlapping appearance, a debut in the same release year) and red when it does not, and the debut tile carries an arrow when the answer comes from an earlier or later game. There is no limit on guesses.
The day turns over at 03:00 on your own device's clock, and the page shows yesterday's character and a countdown to the next. A stats panel keeps your guess distribution and streak, with a light job-level progression and crystals that can save a streak after a missed day, and the result can be shared to X, WhatsApp or Telegram. A settings panel switches between English and Italian and lets you turn partial matches for multi-game characters on or off.
FFDle is a fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Square Enix, supported by donations and free to play with no sign-up and no ads. It suits anyone who knows the series well beyond its best-known faces.
How to play FFDle
- Open FFDle and type the name of a Final Fantasy character, then pick it from the suggestions.
- Submit the guess and read its row: green is correct, amber is a partial match, red is incorrect.
- Follow the arrow on the debut tile to tell whether the answer comes from an earlier or a later game.
- Use the clues to choose the next character, and keep guessing until every tile is green.
- Share your result, and come back when the countdown runs out for the next character.

Tips
- Party members make up more than half the roster, so start with one before trying villains or NPCs.
- Settle which game the answer comes from early; the debut arrow narrows the field faster than anything.
- Open with a well-known character from a mid-series game such as FF7 or FF9 so the arrow can point either way.
- Turn off partial matches for multi-game characters in settings if you want stricter clues.
