Dialed Tempo's 21 October 2026 daily on desktop: Track 1 of 7, kick, with the tap circle at the bottom and Tap anywhere

Tempo is the rhythm game on Dialed. You rebuild a beat one track at a time, kick first, tapping each note as it reaches the centre circle, and you are scored on how tightly each tap lands. The Daily gives everyone the same beat with a single attempt and a daily high-score board; past Dailies can be replayed.

About Dialed Tempo

Dialed is a set of quick browser games about perception and memory, and Tempo is its test of timing. A beat is built from several tracks, such as kick, snare and hi-hat. You hear and see the pattern, then tap each note as it falls into the centre circle, one track at a time, until the whole beat is rebuilt.

Scoring is about precision: taps within a few hundredths of a second of the note earn full marks, and points fall away as you drift. A metronome can be switched on to help. Outside the Daily, packs of songs unlock one after another, from hip-hop hits such as Still D.R.E. and HUMBLE. to beats in house, garage, drill, phonk and amapiano styles, rated easy to brutal.

The Daily is one beat chosen for everyone that day, reset at midnight UTC. On 21 October 2026 it had seven tracks, starting with the kick. You get one attempt, then share your score and compare with others, and earlier Dailies stay available to replay. You can also send a song challenge to friends by link so they rebuild the same beat, or host a live round and play at the same time.

Tempo runs in the browser with no account. The site carries ads, including a short video ad before the daily at phone size, with a paid ad-free plan from $1.99 a month. It suits drummers, rhythm game fans and anyone who likes to tap along to music.

How to play Dialed Tempo

  1. Open Tempo on Dialed and press Play the daily.
  2. Watch the first track's name (the kick on most beats) and tap anywhere to start it.
  3. Tap each note of that track as it lands in the centre circle.
  4. Go on track by track until the whole beat is rebuilt.
  5. See your timing score, compare it on the daily high scores and share it; the daily gives one attempt.

Tips

  • Turn on the metronome if you lose the pulse.
  • Count along in your head before the first tap.
  • Tap when the note reaches the centre, not when it appears.
  • Replay past Dailies to practise.

Questions

Is the daily beat the same for everyone?

Yes. Everyone gets the same Daily beat for the day, with one attempt.

What time does Tempo reset?

At midnight UTC, by the countdown on the daily card. That is earlier than Dialed's other games, which run to midnight US Eastern.

Can I play past Dailies?

Yes. The game says past Dailies can be replayed, and song packs can be played without limit.

Do I need an account?

No. It runs in the browser with no sign-up; initials are enough for the high scores.

Is it free?

Yes, with ads. A paid plan from $1.99 a month removes them.
