BTS Heardle is a daily song game for ARMY. Each day there is one BTS song to name in seven tries: your first guess has only a line of its lyrics to go on, and after that you can play a snippet of the track that gets longer with every skip or miss.
About BTS Heardle
BTS Heardle was made by the fan account BTSCHARTDATA in March 2022, after its BTS version of Wordle, and is inspired by the original Heardle. One song is chosen for each day by a count that starts on 21 March 2022, so every player gets the same track, and the day turns over at midnight in Japan and Korea. The songs follow a fixed list of 233 tracks, so the same song returns about every eight months.
The board has seven rows. Before your first guess the only clue is a line of the song's lyrics, shown in English, with translations credited to fan translators. After that you can press play to hear a snippet of the track, and each skip or wrong answer unlocks more of it. You type part of a title and pick the song from the list, or skip to hear more.
When the round ends the game shows the song with a link to it on Spotify and lets you share your score. A correct answer also adds a BTS photo card to a collection kept in your browser, and a stats panel tracks your results. The game is free and fan-made, and it suits fans who know the group's catalogue well enough to place a lyric line before hearing a note.
How to play BTS Heardle
- Open bts-heardle.vercel.app and read the lyric line under the board.
- Type a song title and pick it from the list, then press Submit, or press Skip if you are not sure.
- After your first guess, press play to hear a snippet of the song.
- Each skip or wrong guess unlocks more of the snippet; keep going until you name it or use all seven tries.
- Share your score and come back after midnight Korea time for the next song.
Tips
- Use your first guess even if you are unsure: the audio only unlocks after it.
- Translated lyric lines often carry a distinctive phrase; think of which era of the group's songs it sounds like.
- Listen for the intro's instruments or a member's voice in the first second before guessing again.
- Skipping costs a try just like a wrong answer, so guess when you have a real candidate.
