Country Scribble's World round for Day 22: draw the border of the Netherlands, with Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam marked and two border stretches shown

Country Scribble names a country, marks a few of its cities and shows two short stretches of its border, and you draw the rest from memory. Your drawing is scored by how much it overlaps the real border, and 70% counts as solved. There is a World round and four regional rounds each day, free and with no sign-up.

About Country Scribble

Country Scribble is one of the daily geography games on Ten Minute Games, a small site made by Istvan Kreisz. Every player gets the same rounds each day, and a new set starts at midnight UTC. There is no account: results and streaks are kept in your browser only.

Each round names a country and puts it on a blank board with three of its cities marked as dots and two short pieces of its real border drawn in as anchors. You trace the rest of the outline with your mouse or finger, in as many strokes as you like, lifting to start another part. Clear wipes the drawing and Confirm commits it. The shown pieces count as part of your shape, and the score is the overlap between your drawing and the true border, with 70% marked as a solve.

The rounds are split by region: World, Europe, Americas, Africa, and Asia and Oceania each have their own country for the day. Day 1 was 2 October 2026; on Day 22 the World round was the Netherlands, with Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam marked. A solved round scores up to 300 points, fewer the further your overlap falls below the top band, and a Share button copies your result. A day picker lets you go back and play every past day for free.

Most daily country games ask you to name a country from its shape. This one turns that around: you know the country and have to produce the shape, which tests how well you remember where its coast bends and its borders run. It suits map lovers who already know their capitals and want a harder test of what a country looks like.

How to play Country Scribble

  1. Open Country Scribble and pick a region tab: World, Europe, Americas, Africa, or Asia and Oceania.
  2. Read the country named for the round and find its cities and the two border stretches already shown on the board.
  3. Draw the rest of the border from memory, in one stroke or several; press Clear to start over.
  4. Press Confirm to score your drawing by how much it overlaps the real outline; 70% counts as solved.
  5. Play the other regions' rounds, or use the day picker to play a past day.

Tips

  • Use the marked cities as fixed points: a capital and the largest towns usually sit well inside the border, which tells you how far out the line must go.
  • Join your strokes to the two shown border pieces, since they count as part of your shape.
  • If a round is beyond you, Skip this leg moves on without spending your one commitment.
