Counter-Strikle is BLAST.tv's free daily guessing game for Counter-Strike 2 fans. Each day there is one mystery pro player; type a name, read how your guess compares, and find the player within eight tries to keep your streak.
About Counter-Strikle (BLAST.tv)
Counter-Strikle comes from BLAST, the Copenhagen-based esports tournament organiser, and sits on its BLAST.tv site beside its Counter-Strike coverage. It takes the Wordle idea and applies it to the pro scene: the answer is a professional CS2 player rather than a word.
You start by typing a player's name into the search box. Each guess adds a row comparing that player with the mystery one in five columns: team, nationality, age, role and Major appearances. A green box is a match, an orange box is close (a nationality from the same region, such as Europe or CIS, or a near age), and arrows on age and Majors say whether the answer is higher or lower. You have eight tries, shown as eight marks under the board.
Signing in saves your streak and adds you to a leaderboard of the longest active and longest ever streaks, which the page shows beside the game. A multiplayer mode lets you race other fans. It suits players who follow the pro circuit and know rosters well.
How to play Counter-Strikle (BLAST.tv)
- Open Counter-Strikle and type a CS2 pro player's name in the search box.
- Pick the player from the list to submit your guess.
- Read the row it adds: green boxes match the mystery player, orange boxes are close, blank ones are wrong.
- Follow the arrows on age and Major appearances to go higher or lower, and use the region hint from an orange flag.
- Find the player within eight tries; sign in if you want your streak saved and shown on the leaderboard.
