Chessigma's Daily Chess Puzzle gives you one chess position a day to solve on a web board, free and without signing in. You play the best moves for the side to move, can ask for a hint, and can go back to any earlier day on the calendar.
About Chessigma Daily Chess Puzzle
Chessigma is a chess training site run by Arche Labs Ltd, best known for its free game review that rates every move of your games. Its Daily Chess Puzzle page sets one position each day for everyone who visits.
The page opens straight onto the board. The last move played is shaded, and you answer it by moving pieces for the side to move until the combination is complete. A coach character, Coach Froggy, comments on your moves, a Hint button points you toward the right piece, and arrows let you step back and forward through the line.
Beside the board sits a monthly calendar. Today's date is marked, earlier days can be clicked to load their puzzle, and a counter shows how many of the month's puzzles you have solved. A day streak on the side keeps track of how many days running you have come back.
The daily puzzle is free and plays without an account. The site carries ads, which a paid Supporter plan removes; signing in keeps your streak and progress across devices. It suits club players and beginners who want one short tactics problem a day, with a month of back puzzles to catch up on.
