on carguesser.com

CarGuesser shows close-up photos of a real car and asks you to name its brand, then its model and its year. Classic mode gives one car a day with unlimited attempts and fewer points for each miss. Quick mode asks you to pick the brand of five cars in 60 seconds, with five seconds lost for each wrong answer.
About CarGuesser
CarGuesser is a daily car identification game made by mmmintdesign. Each date has its own puzzle, with the day's date on the home screen, and a calendar lets you go back to the dailies of the past two weeks. The game says it runs on passion, not ads, and asks players who enjoy it for a tip instead.
Classic mode is about one car. The first photo is a tight crop, a wheel arch or a corner of a bumper, and the rest of the photos are locked; each wrong guess takes points off your score and opens the next view, until a grille or a badge gives the car away. You name the brand first, then the model, then the year, typing into a box with suggestions, and your earlier attempts stay listed under the picture.
Quick mode is a race through five cars. Each shows one photo and four brand buttons, and the timer starts at 60 seconds, with five seconds taken off for every wrong pick. It rewards fast recognition over careful elimination.
Both modes end with a score you can share, and the home screen keeps your streak. The game notes that its data comes from US sources, so some model names follow American market naming. It suits anyone who can tell cars apart by a tail light or a hubcap, from classic saloons to pickups.
How to play CarGuesser
- Open the day's Classic or Quick mode from the home screen.
- In Classic, study the first photo and type the car's brand, then press Submit.
- Each wrong guess costs points and unlocks another photo of the car.
- Once the brand is right, name the model and then the year the same way.
- In Quick, pick the right brand out of four for each of five cars before the 60 seconds run out; a wrong pick costs five seconds.
- Share your score and come back after 01:00 UTC for the next daily.

Tips
- Look at the details the crop shows, a wheel design, a light cluster or a trim line, before you spend a guess: every miss costs points.
- Model names follow the US market, so a car sold under another name elsewhere may be listed by its American name.
- Use the dailies from the past two weeks to practise on cars you missed.
