AniGuessr is a daily anime quiz with five games scored in points. You name shows from screenshots, openings and endings, name characters from their portraits, and find the anime of the day in Anidle by comparing tags.
About AniGuessr
AniGuessr was launched in April 2023 by two anime fans, Nuktorn and Miki, who wanted a quiz that was neither too easy nor too long. Each of its games can be played once per day, and a new set arrives at 00:00. Everything is scored in points, so the aim is to finish the day with the highest total rather than just to get the answers.
The screenshot game shows images from an anime and you name the series, losing points for each extra clue. The characters game shows four portraits from different shows, with points for each character name and each anime title you get right. The opening and ending games play a theme song, with a cropped and blurred video available as a clue at a points cost.
Anidle is the site's take on the -dle format: you guess any anime, and its tags, release year and MyAnimeList score are marked green, yellow or red against the answer. Clues such as a blurred cover, a synopsis and a main character's name unlock after many guesses. Past days can be replayed without touching your stats, and an unlimited mode exists for Anidle. The site is free with ads and accepts optional support on Ko-fi.
How to play AniGuessr
- Pick one of the day's games from the home page.
- Type your answer and choose one of the suggested titles or names before submitting.
- Use clues only when needed: each one lowers the points you can earn.
- Play all five games to build your total score for the day.
- Return after 00:00 for the next set, or replay earlier days from the archive.

Tips
- Always pick an answer from the suggestion list, or it may not count.
- In the characters game, an anime title still earns points even if you cannot recall the character's name.
- In Anidle, green tags are among the answer's five main tags, so build on those first.
- Listen to the opening once without the video clue to keep the full points.
