Zebra Puzzles #310 for 2026-10-22, very easy level: an empty table of shirt, name, tool and accessory for four garden-store customers, with the clues below and six difficulty tabs above

Zebra Puzzles posts six new zebra puzzles every morning under one dated number, one at each level from very easy to ultra hard. You fill a table from the clues alone with drop-down menus, and each clue gets a green or red mark as you go. No account is needed.

About Zebra Puzzles

A zebra puzzle, also called Einstein's riddle, gives you a row of positions, such as houses side by side, and several categories of items, such as names, drinks and pets. A list of clues describes how they relate, and exactly one arrangement fits them all. Zebra Puzzles publishes six of them every morning under one dated number, one at each level: very easy, easy, medium, hard, very hard and ultra hard, shown as tabs of one to six light bulbs. The 22 October 2026 set was number 310, and its easiest puzzle put four men in a garden store with a shirt, a name, a tool and an accessory each.

You read the clues and place items in the table, choosing each one from a drop-down menu in its cell. As you go, each clue gets a marker: green when your arrangement is consistent with it, red when it breaks it. The site notes that green does not guarantee the final answer and red is not always wrong in the end, so the markers help without solving it for you. An undo button lets you back out of a wrong line. The puzzle is done when every clue holds and the table is full.

The levels differ less in table size than in how hard the clues work: easy clues name positions outright, while the hard ones talk about what is not true, or what is somewhere to the left of something else. It suits anyone who likes pure deduction, and the site suggests regular solvers start at medium.

The page is free and needs no account, and your progress is kept in the browser. An ad slot sits beside the board on a computer and above it on a phone, with a link to remove ads. Older puzzles are not kept on the site itself: its Past Puzzles button points to the zebra puzzle archive on Puzzleship, and a seventh tab links one of Puzzleship's other daily logic games.

How to play Zebra Puzzles

  1. Pick one of the six difficulty tabs, from one light bulb (very easy) to six (ultra hard).
  2. Read all the clues below the table before placing anything.
  3. Choose an item for a cell from its drop-down menu, combining clues to pin each one down.
  4. Watch the marks beside the clues: green means your table agrees with a clue, red means it breaks one.
  5. Fill the whole table so every clue holds; use undo, redo or reset to back out of a wrong line.

Tips

  • Clues like directly next to or somewhere to the left of only bite when combined with another clue; note them and come back.
  • Regular solvers can open at medium; save ultra hard for when you have time.
