on wowdle.app

WoWdle is a fan-made set of daily guessing games about World of Warcraft. You guess the day's character from colour-coded clues, name a character from an image, identify a zone from a screenshot and answer five trivia questions. Every mode is numbered and shared by all players, and a Timewalking page lets you replay past days.
About WoWdle
WoWdle is a Wordle-style browser game for World of Warcraft players. It is an unofficial fan project by Zen Farhat, as the site's own data names the maker; the site credits Wowhead for its game assets and sounds, and its maker also links to another game of theirs, Mythmix.
The Classic mode asks you to guess the day's character in six tries. Each guess fills a row comparing your pick with the answer on gender, class, race, zone, expansion and name: green for a match, yellow for a partial match and red for a miss. After three guesses an audio hint (a voice line) unlocks, and after five an image hint. The Character mode works from a picture, and the Zones mode shows a screenshot of the mystery place, each also in six tries.
Daily Trivia gives five multiple-choice questions on lore and the game, with the day's average score to compare against. Each mode shows how many people have played today and the success rate, and a timer counts down to the next reset. The Timewalking page lists earlier numbered puzzles by date so you can replay them.
It suits World of Warcraft players who know their characters and maps, from Classic to recent expansions. Signing in is optional and adds personal stats.

Tips
- Lock down the expansion and zone first; they narrow the list of characters faster than race or class.
- Yellow means a partial match on fields with more than one value, such as a mixed race, so keep that part.
- In Zones, look at the sky, architecture and plants to guess the continent before naming the zone.
