WhereTaken US is Teuteuf's American version of WhereTaken. Each day it shows a photograph taken somewhere in the United States; you guess the state, with distance and direction to guide you, then play four bonus rounds about it: facts such as its nickname, its landmarks, a map round and a city.
About WhereTaken US
WhereTaken US takes Teuteuf's WhereTaken and narrows it to the fifty states. Each day there is one photograph, the same for everyone: a street, a landscape, a building or a roadside view. You type the state you think it shows. A wrong answer tells you how far away the right state is, which direction to look and a proximity percentage, and you have six guesses.
Once you have the state, four bonus rounds follow, each opened by finishing the one before: Facts (multiple-choice questions such as the state's nickname), Landmarks, a Map round and a City round. Each round you get right fills a star on the day's progress bar.
Settings offer two difficulty levels: Normal shows distance and direction, Expert hides them. A new game comes at midnight on your device's clock. The daily plays with no account; a free Teuteuf account keeps your stats across devices, and Teuteuf Premium removes the ads and opens the archive of past games.
It suits players who like Statele, Teuteuf's outline game for states, and want to learn what the states look like from the ground.

Tips
- Vegetation and terrain narrow the region quickly: desert, prairie, forest or coast.
