Vinlandle

Vinlandle is one of the character -dles on animedle.org, from the same family as Frierendle, Hunterdle, Chainsawdle and Kingdomle, and a fan project that Vinland Saga's trademark holders do not endorse. One hidden character a day is shared by every player, changing every 24 hours by your time zone.

Each guess fills a row with the character's picture and properties: gender, height, age, hair color, weapon, occupation, affiliation and first arc. Green tiles match and red ones do not, and arrows on ordered properties such as height and age point toward the answer. A quote hint unlocks after 9 tries and a first appearance hint after 14, and under the board the page names yesterday's answer with its number (#19 Canute on 26 October 2026).

The roster is the warriors, farmers, kings and families of the saga. The game sits in a shared animedle.org template whose card is titled Animedle, and the page shows an ad before you play and ad space around the board. It suits readers of Vinland Saga who know its cast beyond Thorfinn.

The roster in the page's code holds 40 characters, and the day of the year picks one of them. A regular player will meet the same answer again after about 40 days.
