Tumble Tally's daily board for 27 October 2026 in the browser: round 1 at 30 of 90 points with 9 moves left, the Next drop and two after it above seven columns of shapes

Tumble Tally is a free browser game from Dayplay Games: tap a column to drop the next piece, and three or more of the same shape touching pop for points. Each day everyone plays the same board, reaching each round's points goal in a few moves while new rows push up from the bottom.

About Tumble Tally

Tumble Tally is a drop-and-match game that runs in the browser, made by Dayplay Games as one of its small free daily games. The board has seven columns. You see the next piece and the two after it, tap a column to drop it in, and when three or more of the same shape touch, side by side or stacked, they pop. Pieces above fall down, and a match made by the fall pops too, for double and then triple points.

A game is played in rounds. Each round has a points goal and a set number of moves: 12 at first, 13 from round 5 and 14 from round 9. Reach the goal with every piece below the dashed line near the top and two new rows push up from the bottom for the next round. Miss the goal, fill the board, or leave pieces above the line when the rows rise, and the run is over. Points also go into a wallet you can spend in a shop between moves on wild pieces, a bomb, extra moves or a fresh row.

The Daily board is the same for every player and changes at midnight UTC, so scores can be compared, and a shared score links back to the board it came from. Free play deals a new board every game, and after your first game a Honeycomb board opens, with offset columns where each piece touches up to six others and four of a shape are needed to pop.

It suits players who like match-three games but want one short, fair run a day rather than an endless level map. It needs no account, and best scores and its sixteen goals are kept on your device. Players who pick a name can also post their result to the shared Dayplay Games leaderboards. The game shows no ads, and its privacy page says there is no advertising.

How to play Tumble Tally

  1. Open the game and choose Daily, then press Play today's board (a short practice round comes first unless you skip it).
  2. Look at the Next piece and the two after it, then tap a column to drop the next piece into it.
  3. Get three or more of the same shape touching, side by side or stacked, to pop them for points.
  4. Reach the round's points goal before your moves run out, with every piece below the dashed line.
  5. When two new rows push up, keep matching to make room; the run ends if you miss a goal or the board fills.
  6. Spend points from your wallet in the shop on a wild, a bomb, extra moves or a new row when it helps, then copy your score to share it.

Tips

  • Plan with the two pieces after Next in mind: leave a gap where a coming piece will finish a match.
  • Set up matches that make the pieces above fall into another match; falling matches score double, then triple.
  • Unused moves are worth 10 points each when you clear a round, so do not spend moves you do not need.
  • Keep the top rows clear before a round ends, since anything above the dashed line when the new rows push up ends the game.
  • Save points for extra moves in later rounds, when the goals are higher.
