Stranger Thingsdle (Quizzdle)

Stranger Thingsdle is one of the many fan-made categories on Quizzdle, a French site of character guessing games. It is unofficial and not tied to Netflix or the makers of the series. The site has an English and a French version; on the English page some attribute names and values still show in French (sexe, saisons, masculin, vivant).

In the daily Classic mode one character from Stranger Things is hidden, the same one for every player, and each day's puzzle carries a number. You type a name into the box and choose a character from the list. A row appears with that character's picture and its attributes: sex, age, the seasons they appear in, whether they are alive, eye colour and hair colour. Green means a match, orange a partial match (some of the seasons right), red a miss, and an arrow on the age tells you to go higher or lower. Each row narrows the field until you land on the answer.

Fewer tries earn more of the site's points, called quizztons, which count toward a leaderboard for the collection. Besides the daily character there are an Image mode, a Bingo mode and an Indices (clues) mode, unlimited Infini rounds, and multiplayer and duel modes to play against friends or others. The daily character can be played without signing in; an account keeps your points and ranking.

It suits fans of the series who know the cast of Hawkins well, and players of other character -dles who want a TV one.
