Spelling Bee on Lessgames is the school contest as a daily game. Each day you hear five words, one per round, and type how each is spelled. A definition and a sentence using the word are there if you need them. Your result is how many of the five you got right.
About Spelling Bee (Lessgames)
This Spelling Bee is not the honeycomb puzzle of the same name. It is the school contest: a word is read out and you spell it. It is one of the daily games on Lessgames, the site behind Wordless, Songless, Moreless, Clueless and Mapless.
Each day has one set of five words, the same for everyone, and they get harder from the first round to the fifth. Press the green speaker to hear the word again. A Definition button and a Sentence button give the help a speller would ask for in a real bee. You type on the on-screen keyboard or your own and press Enter. The round marker turns green for a correct spelling, and the game moves on to the next word.
At the end you can share a row of results showing which rounds you spelled right. Signing in keeps your stats, and a Lessgames subscription opens every past day in the archive and takes the ads away.
It suits good spellers, word lovers and anyone who remembers standing up at a school spelling bee.
How to play Spelling Bee (Lessgames)

- Press Definition or Sentence if you need to be sure which word is meant.
- Type your spelling and press Enter.
- Move on to the next round. The words get harder up to round 5.
- See and share how many of the five words you spelled correctly.
