Social Wordle is a Wordle-style daily word game with a social layer. Solve today's five-letter word in six guesses, then see how others did, discuss the game in a feed and compare scores in groups with friends.
About Social Wordle
Social Wordle plays like the familiar word game: one hidden five-letter word a day, six guesses, and coloured tiles telling you which letters are right, misplaced or missing. The difference is what happens after you finish.
Once you have played, a Feed tab shows the day's results and lets players discuss the current and past games, and a Scores tab compares results. Signing in keeps a streak, lets you create a group and compares scores with friends. The board even suggests a starting word to new players, such as CRANE.
It was shared on Show HN in June 2026 by its maker, who described it as a way to solve your friends' guesses and talk the puzzle through together.
It suits groups of friends who already compare Wordle results in a chat and want the conversation in one place.
How to play Social Wordle
- Open socialwordle.com and press Play today's puzzle.
- Type a five-letter word and press GO.
- Read the tile colours: right letter in the right place, right letter in the wrong place, or not in the word.
- Find the word within six guesses.
- Open the Feed to see the day's results and talk it over; sign in to keep a streak and join a group.
