Self-Referential Quiz #1023 for 19 Oct 2026 on Puzzleship: the very easy quiz's four questions about their own answers, six difficulty tabs above and the countdown below

Self-Referential Quiz is a quiz about itself. Questions ask how many answers are C, or what the answer to another question is, and only one set of answers makes every question true at once.

About Self-Referential Quiz (Puzzleship)

There is nothing to know in advance. Each question refers to the quiz's own answers, either counting them or pointing at a specific question, and your answers must make all of them true together. Most questions cannot be settled alone, which is what makes it a puzzle.

Questions that point at one specific other question are easier to handle than ones counting totals, and a question that points at itself often has only one consistent option. Assuming an answer and following it until something breaks is a fair method here, since a contradiction eliminates that option for good.

Puzzleship, run by Brainzil, LLC, publishes six quizzes of Self-Referential Quiz a day, graded from very easy to ultra hard. Each day's quizzes are numbered and dated, the same for every player, and go up at 13:00 UTC, although the page says midnight in your own time; earlier days stay playable in the archive. The site is free with ads, and a premium plan removes them.

How to play Self-Referential Quiz (Puzzleship)

  1. Open Self-Referential Quiz and pick one of the day's six quizzes from the difficulty tabs, one bulb for the easiest up to six.
  2. Read every question and its options: each one counts answers or points at another question of the same quiz.
  3. Settle questions that refer to a single other question, or to themselves, first.
  4. Tap an option to cross it out as you rule it out, using contradictions, then work through the counting questions.
  5. Finish when every question is true of the full set of answers; Undo and Reset are below the quiz.

Tips

  • Look for a question about itself; it often has one possible answer.
  • Pair questions that point at each other.
  • Check that counting claims could add up to the number of questions.
  • Keep paper handy for the long quizzes.

Questions

How many Self-Referential Quiz puzzles are there each day?

Six, graded from very easy to ultra hard.

When do new Self-Referential Quiz puzzles appear?

At 13:00 UTC. The page's own text says 00:00 your time, but its countdown and the puzzle's schedule both point to 13:00 UTC, so a player in Europe or the Americas sees the new quizzes during their day, not at midnight.

Can I play earlier days?

Yes. Puzzleship keeps past puzzles in an archive.

Is it free?

Yes, with ads. A Puzzleship premium plan removes them.
