on putt.day

putt.day gives everyone the same mini golf hole each day, built in 3D from floating greens over water. You drag back on the ball to aim and set the power, then try to sink it in as few strokes as you can. Many holes come from players through the built-in editor, and past days wait in a calendar with stats and replays.
About putt.day
putt.day is a browser mini golf game with a single hole a day. The holes are numbered from No. 1 on 13 May 2026, and on 29 October 2026 everyone was playing No. 170, a Halloween hole called "too many pumpkins" with a giant jack-o'-lantern at the end of a long ramp. The game is made by ell.dev and its course pieces come from Kenney's public domain minigolf kit.
Playing is all drag and release. You grab the ball, pull back away from where you want it to go and let go. The further you pull, the harder you hit. Dragging anywhere else turns the camera, and you can pinch or scroll to zoom out, or press Overview to see the whole hole before you commit. Water sends the ball back to where it was, and a first shot that ends in water does not count. Each hole shows its par and a live feed of other players holing out.
Many of the daily holes are made by players. Anyone can build a hole in the 3D editor, test it and submit it, and approved holes can be scheduled as a daily, credited to their maker on the day. The community holes page lists the rest to play any time, with ratings and completion counts. After a day's hole, its stats page shows the average, the median, the best score and replays of shots at every stroke count.
You need no account. Scores and streaks live in your browser, and an optional sign-in backs them up and adds a public profile. Friend groups let you compare results with people you choose, and party mode is a battle royale lobby where the last golfer standing wins. It suits anyone who wants a short daily game of touch and judgement, on a phone or a desktop.

Tips
- Press Overview before the first shot to trace the whole route, ramps and drops included.
- A first shot into the water does not count, so a bold line off the tee costs little.
- Later water hazards cost a stroke and put you back where you were. Play safe near the hole.
- Short pulls give fine control on slopes. Most misses near the cup come from hitting too hard.
- Watch the replays on a past day's stats page to see the line the best players took.
