Push Puzzles #1023 for 19 October 2026 on a desktop: the very easy warehouse with the worker, two wooden crates, two goal markers, six difficulty tabs and a par of 7 pushes

Push Puzzles is Puzzleship's daily Sokoban: walk a small warehouse and push every box onto a goal square. Boxes can be pushed but never pulled, so one push into a corner can ruin the room. Six graded warehouses come out each day, each with a par for the fewest pushes.

About Push Puzzles (Puzzleship)

Push Puzzles is Sokoban, the warehouse puzzle where you push boxes onto marked goal squares. You walk around the room with the arrow keys, WASD or the on-screen arrows, and walking into a box pushes it one square ahead of you. You can only push, never pull, and only one box at a time, so a box shoved into a corner that is not a goal stays there for good.

Puzzleship publishes six warehouses a day under one number and date (19 October 2026 was #1023), the same for every player. The page says the next set comes at midnight your time, but a new set goes live at 13:00 UTC, so in Europe it arrives in the afternoon and in the Americas in the morning. A row of bulbs above the board picks the difficulty, from a single bulb for very easy to six for ultra hard. Each room shows a move counter, a push counter and a par: the fewest pushes it can be solved in. Undo and redo are always there, as is a reset button, and the date picker and archive open any earlier day.

The format dates from the early 1980s, and Puzzleship's version keeps it plain: a clean grid, a small warehouse worker and wooden crates, with no timer or enemies. What it adds is the daily ladder of six rooms and the par to aim for. It suits players who like planning several moves ahead, and the easy rooms are a gentle way into the genre.

The game plays free in the browser with no account, on a desktop or a phone. The site shows ads around the board, and a Puzzleship premium plan removes them.

How to play Push Puzzles (Puzzleship)

  1. Open Push Puzzles and choose a difficulty from the row of bulbs above the board.
  2. Move the worker with the arrow keys, WASD or the on-screen arrows.
  3. Walk into a box to push it one square; you cannot pull boxes, and only one moves at a time.
  4. Push every box onto a goal square to solve the room.
  5. Press U or Ctrl+Z to undo, Ctrl+Y to redo, or Reset to start again, and compare your pushes with the par.

Tips

  • Never push a box into a corner that is not a goal.
  • Fill the awkward far goals first.
  • Before each push, check where you will be standing afterwards.
  • A box on a wall can only move along that wall.
