Neighborle Flags on 26 October 2026 after one guess (Germany): red cross pieces and yellow stars of the hidden flag are painted in on a grey board

Neighborle Flags is the flag mode of the daily geography game Neighborle. Each day there is one hidden flag; you guess countries, and every guess reveals which colours your flag has in common with the hidden one, until you name it.

About Neighborle Flags

Neighborle is a daily geography site best known for its neighbours game, and Neighborle Flags is its flag mode. Each day there is one hidden national flag, the same for every player.

You guess a country, and the game reveals the colours that your flag shares with the hidden flag, painting in more of the picture with each try. Using colour combinations and what you know about flag designs, you narrow it down to the answer.

It is free in the browser, with ads.

It suits flag fans and geography players who like Flagle-style puzzles.

How to play Neighborle Flags

  1. Pick any country from the list; the day's flag is hidden and you have 5 tries.
  2. See which areas of the hidden flag your flag matches in colour; those parts are painted in.
  3. Choose a flag with the revealed colours in the same places.
  4. Name the hidden flag before your tries run out.

Tips

  • Start with a flag that has many colours to learn more at once.
  • Think regionally: neighbouring countries often share colour schemes.
  • Watch for distinctive colours like green and gold together.

Questions

Is there a new flag every day?

Yes. A new flag opens at midnight in your own time zone, and the game counts down to it once you finish.

Is it the same for everyone?

Yes. Every player on the same calendar date gets the same flag. The game works through a fixed list of 239 flags, so a flag comes round again after about eight months.

Which colours count as the same?

The game sorts every flag colour into one of nine groups: pink, purple, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, white and grey or black. Shades inside one group count as a match.

Is it free?

Yes. It plays in the browser with no account, and the page carries NitroPay ads beside the game.
