on minimahjdaily.com

Mini Mahj is a free daily American mahjong challenge in the browser. Everyone starts with the same hand, draws from the same wall and plays the same three computer opponents, so only your decisions change the result. You get one try a day, scored by whether you made a hand and in how few turns, on a worldwide leaderboard and in groups with friends.
About Mini Mahj
Mini Mahj takes American mahjong, the version played with a card of winning hands, jokers and flowers, and turns it into one shared game a day. At midnight in your own time zone a new deal comes out, and every player gets the identical starting tiles, the same wall to draw from and the same three computer opponents, named Ivy, Rose and Lily. The site says the opponents make the same choices for everyone, so the luck of the deal is shared and the result comes down to how you play it.
A game opens with the Charleston: rounds of passing three tiles, first to the right, then across, then to the left. After that you draw and discard, building towards one of the hands on the card. Mini Mahj now plays the 2026 card of the National Mah Jongg League, which you can open from the Card button at the top of the table.
There is one attempt a day. The score rests on whether you went Mahj and how few turns it took, not on speed, so you can take your time. Afterwards a top ten worldwide shows the best results and the hand each player made, a streak counts your days, and groups let you compare with friends.
It is free, plays in the browser on a computer or a phone with no download and no account, and shows no ads. A short welcome and a tutorial explain the rules, and the site has guides to the Charleston, reading the card and scoring for newer players.

Tips
- Look at the card before the pass and keep the tiles that suit two or three possible hands.
- Pass away the tiles that fit none of your likely hands.
- Since everyone has the same tiles, check the top ten afterwards to see which hand the best players made.
