About Linked (TIME)

Linked is TIME's daily word-connection puzzle, made by Lucky Butterfly Productions: you unite two seemingly unrelated words in just four moves, building a chain of linked words between them, at a daily difficulty such as medium.

TIME launched TIME Games on TIME.com in May 2026, a free hub of daily games on phones and computers, featuring puzzles refreshed daily: Linked, a cover-dating quiz called What Year Was It?, a TIME Cover Jigsaw, Word Flower, Sudoku, Word Search and the prediction game Market Movers. The jigsaw, Word Flower, Sudoku and Word Search use Amuse Labs technology.

It suits TIME readers and anyone who wants a short daily puzzle with a news-magazine flavour.
