Guess The Timeline #210 board: six event cards from MacArthur's return to the Philippines to the Fall of Saigon, with arrows, a timer, a guess count and a Submit button

Guess The Timeline is a daily history puzzle on Bored Panda. Each day brings six events, from world history to one celebrity's career or a pop culture trend, and you move them into the order they happened, then submit to see which are in place.

About Guess The Timeline (Bored Panda)

Guess The Timeline is one of Bored Panda's Daily Games, published every day on its own numbered and dated page beside Guess The Country, Guess The Famous Person, Guess The Phrase and a Daily Word Search. It reached No. 210 on 20 October 2026, and its dated pages go back to 24 March of that year. The Daily Trivia hub lists each game's release time, and a new timeline goes live there at 21:00 Lithuanian time.

The puzzle is a list of six events in random order, and your only task is to arrange them from oldest at the top to newest at the bottom. You move a card with its up and down arrows or drag it into place, then press Submit. The game marks which events sit in the right place, counts your guesses and runs a timer; if you get stuck you can try again or reveal the answer.

The day's set leans on one featured event. On 17 October 2026 it was Cornwallis asking for surrender terms at Yorktown on 17 October 1781, mixed with the Declaration of Independence, the Treaty of Paris, the storming of the Bastille, the end of the Second World War in Europe and the fall of the Berlin Wall. After the solve, a short note explains the featured event and why it mattered. Other days cover a field such as inventions, a viral topic or the milestones of one famous life.

Every past puzzle stays on its own page, and the Daily Games hub links them all, so missed days can be played later. The game sits inside an ordinary Bored Panda article, with ad slots, a video player and sign-up prompts around it.

It suits players who like timeline card games and history trivia and want a puzzle that takes a couple of minutes.

Tips

  • Anchor the order with the one or two events you are sure of, then fit the rest around them.
  • Think about what had to happen first: a technology before what was built with it.
  • For a single person's timeline, early career events usually come before awards.
