Guess The NBA Player gives you ten tries to name a mystery NBA player. Each guess is compared on draft year, division, team, position, jersey number and country, with green for a match, amber for close and arrows pointing toward the answer.
About Guess The NBA Player
Guess The NBA Player is a Poeltl-style daily for basketball fans. You type any player's name from a pool of about 1,500 and pick him from the dropdown, and six tiles show how he compares with the mystery player: draft year, division, team, position, jersey number and country.
Green means a detail matches exactly, amber means you are close, such as the same conference or a number within range, and grey means no match. On number tiles an arrow points up or down toward the answer.
After five guesses a hint unlocks: one per game, revealing the division, the team or the draft year. Give Up shows the answer and counts as a loss. A new player is set every day at midnight EST, yesterday's answer appears on the home page, and the menu lets you replay any game from the past fifteen days.
There is also a Create option for custom games that do not count toward your statistics, which makes it easy to set a puzzle for a friend.
How to play Guess The NBA Player

- Read the six tiles: green is an exact match, amber is close, grey is no match.
- Follow the arrows on draft year and jersey number toward the answer.
