GeoWrecked: Geography Quiz

GeoWrecked is a trivia game by Povilas Konopackas, with a web app at app.geowrecked.com and an iPhone and iPad app released on the App Store in May 2026. Its questions cover geography, history, landmarks and culture, in text and picture form, and the site counts more than 5,500 of them in beta. You answer on a 3D satellite globe: spin and zoom, drop a pin where you think the place is, and the distance from the right spot sets your score, so a near miss still counts.

The Daily Challenge is 10 questions, the same for every player worldwide, with one attempt a day. Scores go onto a daily leaderboard that can be filtered by country or friends, and playing on consecutive days builds a streak. After each question the map shows your pin, the answer and how many kilometres apart they are.

Other modes include solo rounds of 10 questions, relaxed or with 15 seconds a question, live 1v1 duels with an Elo rating from Bronze to Master, and private party rooms for friends. You play with a free account. A Premium plan ($4.99 a month or $29.99 a year) lifts the daily cap on solo games and duels and adds party hosting and extra badges; during early access the site says Premium features are free for everyone.

It suits map lovers and trivia players who prefer close-enough guessing to multiple choice, and players who like a short daily set with a leaderboard to climb.
