Geodle (Singapore)

Rate it

Find the day's hidden Singapore station, school, mall or park in six guesses.

Play Geodle (Singapore)

on geodle.vercel.app

Today's Geodle MRT & LRT Stations board with three guesses, Bishan 6.54 km, Jurong East 16.46 km and Changi Airport 12.40 km, each with a direction arrow

Geodle is a Worldle-style game for Singapore. Pick a puzzle, such as MRT and LRT stations, and guess the day's hidden place from a list; each guess shows how many kilometres away the answer is, an arrow pointing to it and a bar for how close you are. You have six tries.

About Geodle (Singapore)

Geodle takes the Worldle idea down to one city. Its home page lists five daily puzzles, all in Singapore: MRT and LRT stations, MRT stations only, schools, shopping malls and parks. Each has its own hidden place of the day, the same for every player on that date.

You type a guess and pick it from the options offered, so every guess is a real place in that list. The row then fills with a green bar for how close you came, the distance to the answer, such as 6.54 km, and an arrow for the direction to head. With six tries you close in by moving across the island. A stats card keeps your games played, win rate and streaks, and a Share button copies your result.

The credits name Wordle and Worldle as its inspiration, and station data from RailRouter SG. The game asks for local knowledge rather than a map on screen: you have to picture where each station, school or park sits in relation to the others. Reviewers at TheSmartLocal found the schools puzzle the harder one, since few people know schools outside their own neighbourhood.

There are no ads and no sign-up. The answer of the day is drawn from each list by the date, so with lists of a few hundred places a station or mall can come round again within weeks.

It suits Singaporeans who want a quick daily test of their home ground, and players of Worldle and the station guessing games who like a city-sized map.

  2. Type a place and pick it from the options offered.
  3. Read the distance in kilometres, the arrow pointing toward the hidden place and the bar showing how close you are.
  4. Guess again in that direction, closer each time.
  5. Find the place within six guesses, share your result, then try the other puzzles.

Tips

  • Start in the middle of the island so the first arrow cuts the map in half.
  • Use what you know of the MRT lines: stations along one line give a straight path toward the answer.
  • Start with a place near home, where you know the neighbourhood well.
  • Play all five puzzles: each has its own place of the day.
