Flags is a daily flag game: each day there is one numbered flag to identify in six attempts. You start with only the share of each colour in the flag, and every wrong guess reveals more of the flag and tells you how far and in which direction the answer lies.
About Flags (flagsgame.net)
Flags is a browser game with one flag a day. Puzzles are numbered from the first daily flag on 21 July 2025, so Flag #457 fell on 20 October 2026. An archive lists every earlier day by number and date, with a Random button, so you can answer the days you missed.
The first clue is not the flag itself but its colour breakdown: a row of swatches with the share of the flag each colour covers, such as 90% blue, 8% yellow and 2% white. You type a country into the search box and pick it from the suggestions; only countries in that list can be guessed.
After a wrong guess a version of the flag appears, blurred at first, and the more guesses you make the more of it you can make out. Each miss also tells you how many kilometres away the right country is and in which compass direction, much like Worldle, so map knowledge helps as much as flag knowledge. You have six attempts in all.
Stats, including your current and longest streak and a guess distribution, are kept on your device with no account. A bonus mode, Wordy Flag, asks you to name a country from a written description of its flag taken from Wikipedia; it is unlocked for the day by watching a short ad. The page shows banner ads above and below the game. It suits players who like flags and geography and want a puzzle that takes a minute or two.

Tips
- Rare colours in the breakdown (such as a small share of yellow or white) often point to an emblem or a star.
- Use a central, well-known country as a first guess to get a useful distance and direction.
- Combine the direction clue with the revealed stripes: neighbours often share colour schemes.
- Only countries from the dropdown are accepted, so start typing and pick from the list.
