Map and Photo rounds follow, in Portuguese or English.
About DailyMetro São Paulo
DailyMetro is a set of free browser games, one per city, made by Eliott, an engineer who builds them in his spare time. The São Paulo edition covers the six lines of the São Paulo Metrô, from Line 1-Blue to the Line 15-Silver monorail. It opens in Portuguese, and an English version of the same daily sits at dailymetro.live/saopaulo/en.
Each day has one hidden station and a day number, the same for everyone, and a new one comes at midnight São Paulo time. You start with any station you like and have 8 guesses. For each guess the board shows four clues: the lines it is on, an arrow pointing from your guess toward the target, the number of letters in its name with an arrow for longer or shorter, and its zone. Each clue turns green for a match, orange for a partial match or red for a miss. On the fourth try the game shows the target's line as a hint.
The day has three rounds: Classic, then Map, where you place the day's station on a map of the network, and Photo, where you name a station from a picture of its entrance. When you first play you choose Normal, with hints, or Connoisseur, which swaps the letter and zone clues for opening year and passenger traffic and gives no hints. A flame counts your streak, and past days can be replayed. No account is needed and no ads show.
It suits locals and transit fans who know their network by heart, as well as visitors who want to learn it one station at a time.
