Rate it

on sudokuwiki.org

SudokuWiki Daily Mini Sudoku #263: a 6x6 grid with coloured 2x3 boxes and given digits, Level 1 to 4 buttons, a one-star difficulty rating and a 1 to 6 number pad

The Daily Mini Sudoku is SudokuWiki's newest daily, added in 2026: a numbered 6x6 sudoku in four grades. Fill each row, column and 2x3 box with the digits 1 to 6, on the page or on paper.

About Daily 6x6 Mini Sudoku (SudokuWiki)

SudokuWiki.org, Andrew Stuart's site about sudoku strategies, runs a whole set of numbered daily puzzles, and in 2026 it added a 6x6 mini sudoku. Each day's puzzle, #245 on 3 October 2026, comes in four grades chosen with the Level buttons above the grid, and a star rating shows how hard the current one is.

The rules are classic sudoku on a smaller board: every row, every column and every 2x3 box must contain the digits 1 to 6 exactly once. The on-page player takes keyboard input after a click on the cog, or the on-screen number pad, and has notes with optional prefill and auto clear.

A 6x6 grid takes a few minutes, which makes it a good warm-up before the site's full Daily Sudoku or a gentle start for children and newcomers.

It suits anyone who wants a short daily number puzzle with the option of stepping up a grade.

  • On a phone, use the on-screen number pad; on a desktop, the cog switches to keyboard entry.
