Today's Cricle board on a desktop: a blurred photo of the mystery cricketer and a scorecard with a first guess, V. Kohli, matching on role, bat and bowl

Cricle is a daily cricket guessing game. You name a player, and each guess shows whether their country, role, batting and bowling style and teams match the mystery player and whether the age is higher or lower. Hints are there if you get stuck, but they cost wickets.

About Cricle

Cricle asks one question a day: who is today's mystery player? You have six attempts. You type the name of a cricketer, and the game lays your guess out like a scorecard, with columns for country, role, batting and bowling style and age. Each one shows whether it matches the mystery player, and the age column points up or down. A blurred photo of the mystery player sits beside the scorecard, and a hint can show the teams they have played for, IPL franchises included.

The scoring follows the sport. A good day adds runs to your total, and every hint you take costs a wicket. There are three hints, revealing the country, the teams and the age. If you cannot get there, you can surrender and see the answer.

The first puzzle went up on 28 March 2026, and an archive lets you pick any earlier day to play; archive matches do not count toward your stats. Signing in saves your record to a global scoreboard.

It suits fans who follow international and IPL cricket closely, since the attribute clues reward knowing who bats right-handed or bowls spin as much as who plays for whom.

How to play Cricle

  1. Open Cricle and press Play.
  2. Type part of a cricketer's name, pick the player from the list and press Guess.
  3. Read the scorecard row: green cells match the mystery player's country, role, batting or bowling style, and the age cell points up or down.
  4. Use what matches to pick a better player for the next ball.
  5. Take a hint for the country, teams or age if you are stuck, at the cost of a wicket.
  6. Find the player within six attempts, then share your result.

Tips

  • Start with an all-rounder from a big team; role and team matches narrow the field fast.
  • Save hints for last; each one costs a wicket on your record.
  • Use the archive to practise on past days without touching your stats.
