Colors is a free browser puzzle by TVCoders in which a swipe slides every ball on the board at once. Two balls of the same colour vanish when they meet, grey balls and blocks get in the way, and the aim is to clear the board in as few moves as possible. A numbered Daily Puzzle gives everyone the same levels each day.
About Colors (TVCoders)
Colors is a small sliding puzzle released on itch.io in March 2026 by TVCoders and made with Godot. The board is a square grid of coloured balls marked R, G, B and Y, grey balls and dark blocks. You swipe or press an arrow key, and every ball slides in that direction as far as it can.
When two balls of the same colour run into each other they both disappear. Grey balls never clear and only get in the way, and the dark blocks are fixed walls. Because everything moves together, each swipe changes the whole board, and a level is about finding the order of swipes that brings matching pairs together without stranding a ball behind a wall.
The Daily Puzzle is numbered and the same for every player. It runs through a series of daily levels, from crowded boards to sparse ones, and your score is the total moves you take; the menu shows your current level and move count, and a countdown to the next puzzle. Each level shows the best move count and yours beside the moves you have made so far. A Daily Puzzle Scores screen keeps your results, and the leaderboard ranks players by levels cleared and balls popped, for today and for the last 30 days.
It plays in the browser with a keyboard, a mouse or a touchscreen, and a session takes a few minutes.

Tips
- Before each swipe, look at where every ball will stop, not just the pair you are aiming at.
- Clear pairs that are boxed in by grey balls early, before other swipes push them into corners.
- The score is total moves across the day's levels, so a wasted swipe on an early level still counts.
Questions
Is Colors free?
Yes. It plays free in the browser on its itch.io page.
Is the daily puzzle the same for everyone?
Yes. The Daily Puzzle is numbered, has a countdown to the next one and a shared daily leaderboard of move counts.
What do the grey balls do?
They slide like the others but never disappear, so they act as moving obstacles.
When does a new Colors puzzle come out?
At midnight UTC. The menu shows the puzzle number and a countdown to the next one, and the number goes up by one each day.
