Games like Immaculate Grid: daily trivia grid puzzles
Immaculate Grid gives you nine squares, each needing a baseball player who fits both its row and its column. The same format now runs daily for other sports and for films, anime, Pokémon, countries, flags, words and numbers.

Sports fans have the most choice. HoopGrids does it with NBA players and Gridiron Grids, from the same team, with NFL players; both let you guess as often as you like, so the challenge is finding rare players. Puckdoku does it for the NHL with nine shots for nine cells. For football (soccer), Football Grid on Futbolle is the closest to the original: clubs on both sides and a player who played for both in each cell. Futdoku builds each grid around a classic match, The Ball Grid asks for players who hit a stat for a club in one Premier League season, Football Grid on GridSport has a board for each league, and Futbol11 Grid asks for players who fit a club and a nation, beside more than a dozen other football puzzles on the same site. DailyFoot, in French, does the same with international players, with a general board and editions for single national teams. Basketball 5 and F1DLE include a 3x3 grid among their daily puzzles, for the NBA and Formula 1, and so do Daily Rugby Games (Crossfield, against the clock), BonoMyWordsAreGone for Formula 1 and WrestlePlay for pro wrestling.
Outside sport, Movie Grid and Cinematrix ask for films that match two clues, Silver Screen Grid does it on a smaller board of six squares with five stars to lose, and Actorle Fill The Grid turns it around, with films on the edges and an actor to name in each square. Movie Snake, from the makers of Movie Grid, uses the same two-clue question along a snake of nine panels instead of a grid. AnimeGrids does it with anime. For Pokémon there are PokeDoku, PokeGrid, Pikadoku (with an HP bar that drops on each wrong guess), Weakdoku, built on type matchups, and Pokedle's grid, which uses only types. LoLdoku asks for League of Legends champions, SoulsDoku for FromSoftware bosses, Bazaar Doku for items from The Bazaar, and Framedle has a Warframe grid.
For geography, GeoGrid and GeoRiddle ask for countries, Flagdoku and FlagGrid for flags, Capital Control for world capitals, CityQ for cities and Statedoku for US states. Two French grids do it for France: Villodoku with French towns, where smaller towns score more, and Métrodoku with Paris metro stations. Ubahndoku asks for Berlin U-Bahn stations. LinguaBoard uses languages and Wildlife Sudoku animals. Niche from Mind Loft changes its subject with the weekday, Anything Grid accepts any person, place or thing that fits, CodeDoku picks a new theme for each board, Word Grid from CleverGoat asks for words that fit spelling rules, and NumbersGrid asks for numbers with the right properties.
Most of these games share the habits of Immaculate Grid: one board a day for everyone, a limited number of guesses or mistakes, and a score that rewards an unusual correct answer over the obvious one. They differ in how forgiving they are, from unlimited guesses on HoopGrids to three mistakes on Statedoku.
Start with HoopGrids, Gridiron Grids or Puckdoku if you play for the sport, Football Grid on Futbolle for football clubs, Movie Grid if films are your field, PokeDoku if you grew up with Pokémon, GeoGrid for countries, and Niche if you want a different subject each day.
