WordLink
Rate itRearrange words into a chain of two-word phrases.
on playwordlink.com

WordLink gives you six words to drag into order so each neighbouring pair forms a real two-word phrase, like concept album. A link turns silver when a pair is a phrase but sits in the wrong place and gold when it is right, and you win when the whole chain is gold.
About WordLink
WordLink is a free daily word game played in the browser, on a desktop or a phone. Each day you get a column of six words and rearrange them, by dragging, so that every word and the one below it form a real two-word phrase such as concept album or royal chapel.
The chain links between the words are the feedback. A word with no partner shows a dark link, a pair that makes a phrase but sits in the wrong place in the chain shows a silver link, and a pair that is right and in place shows a gold link. When you make a phrase, the game shows a short definition of it under the board, so each puzzle teaches a few set phrases along the way. A move counter records how many drags you needed.
There is one puzzle a day, the same for everyone, numbered and reset at midnight UTC. The stats screen keeps your puzzles solved, average moves, best game and current and longest streak, and you can copy your result to share it. Players who support the game can unlock a set of bonus puzzles.
It suits players who like compound-word and phrase-chain puzzles and want a short daily that takes a few minutes and rewards a feel for common English phrases.
How to play WordLink
- Read the six words in today's column.
- Drag a word next to one it forms a two-word phrase with; the game shows the phrase's meaning when a pair is found.
- Watch the links: silver means a real phrase in the wrong place, gold means right and in place.
- Move pairs around until every link in the chain is gold.
- Check your stats and copy your result to share it.

Tips
- Look for a word that only fits one partner, then build outward from that pair.
- A silver link means the phrase is right but the position is wrong, so move the pair, not the words.
- Think of set phrases and compounds, not just any two words that could follow each other.
