Worder Classic daily #337 board on a phone, solved in six guesses ending in HORSE, from the App Store listing

Worder is a Wordle-style app for iPhone and Android with a numbered daily puzzle in four sizes: Classic, Double, Quad and Octo, where one guess is played on every board. Keep a streak, replay more than 1,000 past dailies, play unlimited games, or take on other players in live word duels.

About Worder: Daily Word Game

Worder is a phone word game in the Wordle family from AppStation Studio, on the App Store since 2023. You guess a hidden five-letter word, and the tiles turn green for a letter in the right place and yellow for a letter that is in the word somewhere else.

Each day brings a numbered daily puzzle in four modes. Classic is one word in six guesses. Double asks for two words in seven guesses, Quad for four in nine, and Octo for eight in thirteen. In the bigger modes every word you type is played on all the boards at once, so a single guess has to work for several answers.

A 2026 update rebuilt the app: the archive now holds more than 1,000 past dailies across the four modes, the board can be played in fifteen game languages with their own dictionaries, including English US and UK, Spanish, French, German and Polish, and a later update added live multiplayer duels where players take turns and race to guess the word first. Stats track games played, win rate, streaks and guess distribution, and there are achievements, colour themes, tile shapes and letter styles.

When the daily is done, unlimited mode gives more games, and a hint can reveal a correct letter. The app is free and shows ads, with a paid Premium purchase in the store. It suits Wordle players who want the Dordle, Quordle and Octordle formats in one place on their phone.

How to play Worder: Daily Word Game

  1. Open Worder and choose today's daily in Classic, Double, Quad or Octo.
  2. Type a five-letter word on the keyboard and submit it.
  3. Read the colours: green for the right spot, yellow for in the word but in another spot, grey for not in the word.
  4. In Double, Quad and Octo, pick guesses that help on every board, since each guess is played on all of them.
  5. Solve every word within the allowed guesses, then check your stats or share your result.

Tips

  • Open with a word of five common, different letters to light up as many boards as possible.
  • In Octo, finish the boards that are nearly solved before they cost you extra guesses.
  • Use the archive to practise Quad and Octo before tackling the day's puzzle.
  • Save the hint for a board where two or three letters are still open.
