Word Rush is an iPhone and iPad tile-matching word puzzle. Each tile holds part of a word (pre, grand, board, stick), stacked in layers; tap uncovered tiles into a small slot bar, and two parts that make a word snap together and vanish. Its Daily Challenge gives everyone the same dated board each day.
About Word Rush - Split & Match
Word Rush - Split & Match came out on the App Store in June 2026, from a seller listed as 圆 齐. It takes the shape of layered tile-matching games like mahjong solitaire and triple-match puzzles and fills the tiles with parts of words: sun and flower make sunflower, snow and ball make snowball, and prefixes and endings such as pre, mis and ing join up too.
You tap any tile that is not covered by another and it drops into the slot bar. When both parts of a word are in the bar they join and leave the board. Clear every tile to win; let the bar fill with parts that do not pair and the round is over. Undo, Shuffle, Set Aside (Remove), Hint and Revive help when you are stuck, and a clock in the corner times the board.
The Daily Challenge gives one fresh board a day, dated and the same for every player. Beside it are 100 levels that grow deeper and tighter, a 90-second Time Trial, a daily check-in calendar that pays coins, and a collection book that keeps every word you rebuild. The app plays in English and in Simplified Chinese, where the tiles are parts of Chinese idioms.
It suits players who like quiet matching puzzles with a vocabulary twist and a short board to clear each morning.

Tips
- Look at what the tiles underneath might be before taking a top tile you cannot pair yet.
- Leave room in the bar: two or three unpaired halves is safer than five.
- Save Undo for a move that blocks your only way out.
