Witloop's share card: the Puzzle #269 hub listing Mini Nonogram, Word Anagram, Digit Duel and the bonus, beside a Digit Duel board with coloured equation guesses

Witloop is a daily puzzle break for iPhone and Android with three short puzzles: a mini nonogram, a word anagram and Digit Duel, where you crack a hidden equation in six tries. Everyone gets the same three, new at midnight, and the result shares without spoilers.

About Witloop

Each day Witloop opens on a numbered puzzle set with three parts. The Mini Nonogram is a picture-logic grid, 6x6 in the week and an 8x8 Big Grid on Sundays: the numbers on each row and column say how many filled squares sit together, and you tap to fill or mark empty. The Word Anagram asks you to unscramble the letters into the day's hidden word. Words are 5 letters on Monday and grow to 8 by Sunday. Digit Duel hides an eight-character equation; you enter guesses on a number pad and coloured tiles show which characters are right, in the wrong place or absent, with six tries to crack it.

The three are the same for everyone and new at midnight, and together they take only a few minutes. Solving all three unlocks a fourth, a Memory Match bonus puzzle. Results share as an emoji card that shows how you did without giving the answers away. A history and stats page keeps a completion calendar.

Streaks count the days in a row. A free weekly streak freeze covers a missed day, and a short ad earns another. Hints are optional, with one per puzzle shown in the app.

Witloop is made by Daniel Yankov, published as Barrens Soft, and came out in September 2026. It is free to play with no account; optional Remove Ads and Hints Pass upgrades are available. Its website has a fixed sample nonogram to try in the browser.

The game marks the seasons too. From 25 October to 1 November 2026 its Halloween Puzzle Week makes every daily a hand-drawn Halloween picture or a spooky word, with a bronze, silver or gold badge for playing 1, 4 or all 8 days.

How to play Witloop

  1. Open Witloop to today's puzzle set.
  2. Solve the Mini Nonogram: fill squares so each row and column matches its number clues.
  3. Unscramble the Word Anagram to find the day's hidden word.
  4. Crack Digit Duel: enter equations and use the colour clues to find the hidden one in six tries.
  5. Finish all three to unlock the bonus puzzle and share your result.

Tips

  • In the nonogram, a clue of 6 on a 6-wide grid fills the whole line; start there.
  • For the anagram, look for common pairs like th, ch and ing before trying whole words.
  • In Digit Duel make your first equation use many different digits and an operator you suspect.
  • Use the weekly streak freeze on days you know you will miss.
