Puzzle Stack puts six games in one iPhone app. Four of them, Wordzy, Sudoku, Gridlock and a mini Crossword, have one dated puzzle a day and a streak of their own, free and without ads. Word Jam and Arrows are runs of levels for after the dailies, unlocked with the Puzzle Stack Pro subscription along with the full archive.
About Puzzle Stack: Daily Brain Game
Puzzle Stack is a set of daily puzzles for the iPhone from Axiant Labs, a studio in Mumbai. It came out in June 2026 with three dailies, and an update in October 2026 added a fourth, a mini Crossword, and a sixth game, Arrows.
The home screen shows the four daily puzzles with today's date, a streak counter and a Daily Bonus that fills as you finish them. Wordzy is a five-letter word guessing game: you have six attempts, and each guess colours the letters to show which are right, which are in the word but misplaced, and which are not in it at all. Sudoku is one 9x9 grid a day with a difficulty label. Gridlock is a small logic grid: fill cells so each row and column holds the number its clue asks for, with no two filled cells touching side by side. Crossword is a five-by-five grid with a handful of clues.
Finishing puzzles earns coins, which buy hints or streak shields; the store says coins are earned through play, not bought. Each game has its own badges. The dailies are free and have no ads. Puzzle Stack Pro, a subscription, unlocks Word Jam (scrambled letters to make every hidden word from, over hundreds of levels), Arrows (slide arrows off a board in the right order before your lives run out) and the full archive of past days.
It suits someone who wants a short mixed set each day in one place, words and numbers together, rather than four separate apps.
How to play Puzzle Stack: Daily Brain Game
- Open Puzzle Stack to see today's Wordzy, Sudoku, Gridlock and Crossword cards on the home screen.
- In Wordzy, type a five-letter word: green letters are in the right place, yellow are in the word but elsewhere, grey are not in it. Find the word within six tries.
- Fill today's Sudoku so every row, column and box holds 1 to 9 once.
- In Gridlock, fill cells so each row and column has the number of filled cells its clue shows, with no two filled cells touching side by side.
- Solve the mini Crossword from its clues, then finish all four for the Daily Bonus and to keep each streak going.

- In Gridlock, start from rows or columns whose count leaves only one way to place cells without them touching.
- Use Sudoku notes for cells with two or three candidates rather than guessing.
- Save coins for a streak shield before a day you know you will miss.
- In Wordzy, an opening word with common vowels and consonants rules out letters quickly.
